We delivered the UK's first online mid-term used car buying websiteUK start up, Payment Swap wanted to disrupt the used car buying market, offering online customers the chance to swap cars, mid term and complete the process all from the comfort of their homes.
We wanted to create a car buying website that was fun, and not tedious. Working closely with the client we designed a clear home page and sensible UI, which funnelled the user through the customer journey intuitively, all the while calculating the individual parameters to present the most suitable cars to the consumer. Ordering a car shouldn’t be a hassle, and that was the goal for Payment Swap – keep it clean, keep it simple and put the customer in control of the experience
Technical Challenges.
With the Payment Swap project there were several third party data sources which needed to be integrated into the ecosystem. These ranged from finance calculators, to stock feeds to vehicle lookups – all operating harmoniously under the hood.
The more complex side of the project was the back end fulfilment system, which allowed the support teams to manage stock, orders, collections and integrated into a panel of lenders via a finance CRM
