Last week, some of our team had the privilege to travel to Amsterdam for the OutSystems One conference at the RAI, an exciting opportunity to discuss all things Low Code. The event showcased groundbreaking developments, including a particularly exciting demo of OutSystems' new AI tool, Mentor. This innovative solution, designed to streamline application development, gave us a glimpse into how we can expect AI to further enhance our workflows and accelerate project delivery – with the promise of building full stack apps in minutes from natural language or requirement documents!
The conference featured many insightful speeches, including an opening keynote by OutSystems' founder and CEO, Paulo Rosado, who introduced us to Mentor, ‘the world's first full life-cycle digital worker’ and prompted that ‘the future is Developer Cloud with Mentor on it’. The energy in the room was infectious, kicking off the two-day conference with a bang.
Outside of the RAI, we had the chance to explore the beautiful city of Amsterdam. A team highlight was a bike ride through one of the city's scenic parks, allowing us to soak in the local atmosphere and architecture. The team then took a boat tour of the city’s iconic canals. Our omniscient tour guide gave us a deeper understanding of Amsterdam’s rich history and culture, along with a local’s idea of a day well spent in Amsterdam.
Throughout the trip, we enjoyed excellent food with excellent company and shared an evening with some new and old friends from OutSystems. After such an exciting few days of listening at the conference, it was great to chat about what this means for our industry with equally excited developers. A great opportunity for building connections and sharing ideas – we're looking forward to seeing how our fellow developers utilise the new tool ‘Mentor’.
Overall, we have OutSystems to thank, for hosting such an impressive event, where the team learnt a lot, ate a lot of Stroop Waffles and even came away with their own OutSystems swag! We look forward to next year.
