A look back at 2023
A recap of what we've been working on and what's been going in in 2023
As we come to the end of 2023 we thought we would reflect on a fantastic year at Doddle wanted to share some of our highlights with you.
Our partnership with OutSystems has grown and grown over the years, and 2023 was no exception, becoming the 1st delivery partner globally to work with new clients on their flagship cloud-native platform, OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC). We've learnt a lot, pushed the limits of what is possible and ultimately we've delivered some really amazing and exciting projects with great potential.
Throughout the year, our team have been working extremely hard to design, build and launch exciting digital products.
We launched RailX, a pioneering digital marketplace contributing to longer-term sustainable logistics, saving over 280,000 KG of CO2 since its launch in April. Fantastic.
We also launched ChangeabilityPro an AI powered learning management platform infused with 40+years of experience from the amazing thought leaders over at CapabilityForChange
Our latest endeavour, Finbridge Global, focused on creating a unique digital platform to assess fintech capabilities and connect them with suitable financial institutions or investors. Despite the project's complexity, our efficient development process, combined with the collaborative team, ensured a successful conclusion to the year, launching in November.
On reflection, we've tackled first-of-a-kind challenges, strengthened our collective understanding of different industries and enter 2024 a lot wiser and even more adept at turning complex projects into results.
This year our team has grown and we’ve both welcomed and nurtured new talent. Every team member is now Outsystems accredited to a varying degree - you’ll be able to spot their new badges they’re showing off on their LinkedIn.
Amongst the already successful year professionally, our CEO, Tom, has also welcomed his first baby, Gio, and he is wonderful and we can’t get enough of him at the office. We are all also impressed by Tom's abundant energy on very little sleep!
Early in the year, one of our senior developers Max took a little break from his laptop to go travelling. He experienced Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and many more amazing places and came back from the East with a new excitement and drive. Since his return he has completed all of his associate training with OutSystems including the new ODC developer training and has been instrumental in several projects throughout the year.
June saw the addition of Dan who joined doddle as head of strategic growth bringing over 10+ years of experience in Commercial Advisory and Consulting. Dan has been working hard to lay the right foundations ahead of an ambitious 2024 and we're thrilled to have him on board.
Lucy joined us full time this year after finishing her degree in May. Lucy has been invaluable as an account manager and providing ongoing support to clients once they’re up and running. She has also completed OutSystems qualifications and played an integral part in designing our new website which we're super happy with!
There are many many highlights and individual mentions it's impossible to list each and everybody, but from the entire team we would like to say a massive thank you to our customers, colleagues and partners. We can't wait to get cracking in 2024.
